On September 23, OSLC will launch Stewardship 2018. “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein [Psalm 24:1].” As Christians, we recognize that we are not the owners of the time, talents, and gifts God gives us. We are stewards [or “managers”] of those things. 1 Peter 4:10 encourages us: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” We will be hearing more of God’s generosity to us as part of Stewardship 2018 and the opportunities God has placed in OSLC’s path.
