CCAP Christmas Gift Donations Due

CCAP is coordinating with other nonprofit organizations in the Winchester area this year to provide special items for Christmas to the less fortunate in our community. While Salvation Army will provide toys and Bright Futures  will provide children's clothes, Highland Food Pantry and CCAP will provide food boxes for Christmas dinner. (cont. next page)

Area congregations are asked to provide boxed potatoes (au gratin, instant mashed, etc.) and cookies for the Christmas dinner food boxes. CCAP will also distribute coats provided by Rotary Club, as well as NEW, warm hats, gloves, and scarves donated by local congregations (including OSLC). Donations of $25 gift cards from Martins, ALDI, Sharp Shopper, Walmart are always welcome.

The goal is to give each family registered for the Christmas Giveaway a $25 gift card, in addition to a food box, so that they can buy something their family considers special for Christmas. Please place your donations in the designated boxes in the narthex by Sunday, December 6th. As always, thank you for your generosity! Questions? Contact Nancy Braswell, OSLC CCAP representative.
